Will this 100/1 acca be a winner?

If we knew that, we’d be sticking more than a quid on it! However, clearly this 100/1 Betfair acca offer provides amazing value.

Man City play Swiss side Basel and, in theory, that should be the banker of this acca. At odds of around 1/3 to win they look solid enough. Obviously, anything can happen in football but it would be a major upset if Basel were to upset Pep’s in-form City. The Etihad outfit are the favourites for the Champions League outright and so they should be breezing through games like this.

The other three games are all far trickier but, as said, all three are clear favourites. On Tuesday, as well as the City clash, we have Juventus v Spurs. Premier League fans will feel that Spurs have a great chance to cause an upset. However, Serie A experts are sure to feel that the Italians are HUGE value at big odds of 13/10 (at Betfair).

The Italian champions are in unbelievable form right now. Since playing Barca in the Champions League in November Juve have conceded just one goal! They drew with the Spanish side 0-0 and since then they have gone a further 15 games with 14 more clean sheets. They are unbeaten in that time, winning virtually all of those games to nil.

Moving onto Wednesday and we have Porto v Liverpool as well as the huge glamour clash between Real Madrid and PSG. To land this 100/1 acca we need Liverpool to win and Real to do the business. Those two clubs know a thing or 16 (!) about winning the European Cup.

They are priced at odds of 11/8 and 29/20 respectively and whilst not “bankers” they are clear favourites. Liverpool are in top form right now and should outclass Porto. It’s a tough game and that tends to be when Liverpool are at their best.

As for Real, they have been disappointing this term. However, there are some signs that they are improving, with Ronaldo starting to score more freely again. They won 5-2 at the weekend and that will give them confidence. It’s also worth noting that they have so much more experience of this type of huge Champions league clash. Moreover, whilst PSG are almost unstoppable at home, on the road they are nowhere near as formidable.

The real odds of this fourfold are around 17/1 so, as said, it’s no banker. However, at the massive enhanced odds of 100/1 we reckon this has to be worth a quid. Don’t you?
